In our family shrimp is favorite snack. Try to choose medium sized shrimps for making "boats" or canapés. Also these canapés give great look for your table, when you're expecting guests.
1.5 tbsp of plain flour
oil for deep frying
some fresh chopped greens
Beat up eggs and add in flour. Beat well until no crumbs. Clean shrimp from shells. Heat the oil.
Dip each shrimp in egg mixture and roll on sesame seeds, to cover all over the shrimp. Repeat with the rest of shrimp. Deep fry on medium heat, until shrimp is nice pinkish in color. Put on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil.
Cut bread in equal squares or rectangles. (if you want you can toast them as well)Spread cream cheese on each square (I make them two, like sandwiches, it helps to hold shrimp sticks) and insert toothpicks with shrimp and olives.
