How to make pumpkin puree
In pumpkin season, I usually make a lot of pumpkin puree for using them until next season. Try to use ripe and orange pumpkins, as they are sweet in taste. Pumpkin puree can be used for a lot of recipes. I usually make soups, cakes, cheesecakes and bread out of it. Also it is a great filling for pies!
As much pumpkin as you want
Cut pumpkin and clean from seeds. Peel out and cut in slices. Put them on steamers sheet. Cook pumpkins until they are very soft.
Puree all of the pumpkin in blender or in food processor
Pour puree in deep bowl and bring to boil. Immediately pour in to the sterilized and hot glass bottles and seal the cap. Turn over and let it cool. Can be kept for 6-7 month.
