Chocolate, banana cake with nuts
In our house bananas are not preferred much. Usually I buy them and they keep lying in fridge until they begin to turn black. I don't like wasting, so I make this cake out of that bananas. You can use any nuts you like and also can add some other dried fruits like raisins and prunes. Usually I don't use exact recipe for my cakes, I make them just like that, from ingredients that I can find at home, but they always turn out to be tasty and no cake is usually left the other day.
1.5 cup of brown sugar (white sugar also can be used)
4-5 ripen bananas
3 tbsp of cocoa powder
100 gr of sour cream
30 gr of butter, softened
1 tsp of baking powder
Half a tsp of baking soda
150 gr of nuts, crushed
2.5 cups of flour
150 grams of milk or dark chocolate
Mash bananas with fork or blend in food processor. Beat eggs with sugar. Add in bananas, butter, sour cream, b.s and b.p and mix with a spoon. Separately mix flour with nuts and gradually add in to the egg-banana mixture. Mix carefully.
Grease your baking dish with some butter and pour the mixture. Bake in preheated oven in the middle rack. Cake is ready when inserted stick will come out clean.
Take out from oven and let it cool. Melt chocolate in double boiler or in microwave and top the cake evenly.
Serve with hot cup of tea and enjoy:)
